Prior to founding Regele Consulting, Adam served as Vice President of Advocacy & Strategic Partnerships at the California Chamber of Commerce, where he helped lead advocacy strategy for the state’s largest business organization and advised companies on some of California’s most consequential laws and regulations. Known for his depth of subject-matter expertise, legal prowess and pragmatic approach, his work bridged law, policy, and communications strategies to best position businesses with legislators, regulators, and the Governor’s office.
As part of that work, Adam led CalChamber's Food and Agriculture committee, Housing Committee, Chemical Committee and Environmental Policy Committee. He is considered a leading authority on extended producer responsibility, packaging and recycling policy, advanced recycling, chemicals of emerging concern, CEQA, housing and land use policy, and Proposition 65. Adam has built broad coalitions to shape legislation, regulatory frameworks, and fiscal outcomes with significant economic impact.
As a California-licensed attorney whose legal practice focused on advising clients advancing projects in California’s most highly regulated sectors, his legal foundation uniquely informs his advocacy work by enabling him to approach policy and regulatory strategy with a practitioner’s understanding of how laws are interpreted, implemented, and enforced.
Adam earned his Bachelors of Science from the University of California Berkeley and his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco College of the Law (Hastings). He lives and works in Sacramento with his wife, son and two dogs.
